Brian has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland. He started in the business in 1983, working for Merrill Lynch on Wall Street, then moved to Shearson Lehman Brothers, Signet Bank and then Legg Mason in 1994. In 2006 Legg Mason sold its Private Wealth Management unit to Smith Barney. In 2009 Brian and his team left Smith Barney to open the first Baird office in Maryland.
Brian holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 as well as health/life licenses for multiple states.
